Service Description

Available ONLY for a full day trip. Introduced by FWC in 1984 to Florida's canals to help control the over abundant forage fishes- The aggressive, hard fighting, beautiful and exotic Peacock Bass has become one for many anglers bucket list. On this trip- We will quietly glide along the canals and lakes in my skiff to the best areas for targeting these amazing fish. Along the way you can expect to catch a variety of other fish such as- largemouth Bass, mayan cichlids, oscars, jaguar guapotes, and an occasional carp. Peacocks are violent in their strike, and their battle; jumping and thrashing, making quick runs. Whether you are fly fishing or spin fishing, using live bait or artificial, Capt. Mark will do his best to ensure you get the catch you're aiming for. Beautifully colored with their vibrant green bodies, mottled black/orange spots, and blood red fins and bellies- It is truly amazing that you can catch these exotics with a bustling Miami city as the backdrop. Our service will provide all of the necessary equipment; Fly Rods, Spinning Rods, Plug Rods, lures and/or bait which ever you prefer. However, you are always welcome to bring your own equipment. **Guide fees include bait, water, fuel, ice, tackle and expertise. Other beverages, lunches and tips are not included. Children are always welcome! Maximum number of anglers per boat is two. Deposit is required**
